Sanquhar II Community Wind Farm Public Exhibitions being held this week – 6th August
Community Windpower (CWL) are holding a series of Public Exhibitions for the proposed Sanquhar II Community Wind Farm in August, starting this Wednesday:
- Wednesday 8th August: 10:30 – 13:00 at Gladstone Hall, Penpont
- Wednesday 8th August: 16:30 – 19:30 at Lagwyne Hall, Carsphairn
- Thursday 9th August: 09:30 – 13:00 at Kirkconnel Miners Memorial Hall
- Thursday 9th August: 14:30 – 18:00 at New Cumnock Town Hall
- Friday 17th August: 10:30 – 14:30 at Cumnock Town Hall
- Saturday 18th August: 10:30 – 15:30 at Riding of the Marches, Sanquhar
The exhibitions will provide an opportunity for members of the public and local businesses to come along and learn more about the proposal and provide feedback on the scheme, which is extremely valuable information for the project moving forward.
CWL greatly value community engagement and will continue to liaise with local people, local community groups, businesses, community councils, key consultees and local schools during the entire planning process.
