New varsity dresses for Oxford University Netball Club

Community Windpower, the principal sponsor of the Oxford University Netball Club, have provided funding towards the special 2022 Varsity Netball dresses for the lady’s match against Cambridge University Ladies Netball Club.
Every year, varsity fixtures take place in the most competitive sports between the two universities and are the most important fixtures in any Oxford team’s calendar.
The matches took place on Saturday 26th February at the Iffley Sports Centre, in Oxford, at the home of the Oxford Ladies Netball Club.
This was the first year all four Oxford University squads (Blues, Roos, Emus and Development) have played in the annual competition.
All four teams fought hard and played excellently securing three wins out of four. The teams wore their special varsity editions of the famous dark blue dresses which featured the Community Windpower logo across the back.
Rod Wood, Managing Director at Community Windpower, said: “It was a pleasure to attend the Iffley Sports Centre and cheer on the ladies at their home this year.
“The standard of netball was exceptional, and I am proud that Oxford University came away with 3 wins.
“We are pleased that we could support the ladies by providing the funds for the special edition varsity dresses.
“We wish all the ladies the best of luck with the rest of their BUCS matches this season and with their studies going into the exam and assessment season”.
