Multi-Purpose hall at Blair Activity Centre taking shape for Girlguiding Ayrshire North - 25 October

Community Windpower are delighted to see the great progress being made for the new multi-purpose hall at the Blair Activity Centre for the Ayrshire North Girl Guides.
The under-floor drainage, steelwork and external timber frame panels have been erected, with work on flooring and under-floor insulation elements having been recently completed. The next sections of the build to get underway are the works on roof sheeting and external wall strapping which have now commenced, and we will provide updates when these are available.
When building works started, a time capsule was buried within the foundations of the building which contained badges and memorabilia from the current Rainbow, Brownie and Guides.
The building works are anticipated to be completed with the hall to be ready for use by March 2018. Community Windpower are eagerly looking forward to seeing the multi-purpose hall develop and take shape, and will share the progress as the build continues.
