CWL Delighted to Attend the Grand Opening of Girl Guides Activity Centre – 23rd August 2018

CWL were delighted to attend the grand opening of the Girlguiding Ayrshire North Activity Centre on Saturday 18th August, following months of construction which began in September 2017. CWL are the single biggest donor to the project, with a donation of £100,000 towards the construction of the activity centre.
Ben Fielding attended the grand opening event on behalf of CWL and said “CWL are proud to sponsor such a fantastic project as the Activity Centre, the new Centre will provide many years of fun for Girl Guides across the Ayrshire county. It will be a place where the Guides can come to enjoy the space, make new friends and learn new skills in a safe environment. The project manager Betty is an inspiration and the project would not have been possible without her tireless enthusiasm. It has been a privilege to see the project evolve and develop over the years, a lot of hard work has gone into it, but it is well worth it. A huge congratulations to all involved from CWL.”
CWL are delighted to have been a part of the development of the Activity Centre and wish Ayrshire North Girl Guides all the best for the future in their new activity centre.
