CWL delighted to attend Sanquhar’s Riding of the Marches 2017 – 21st August
CWL staff were pleased to attend Sanquhar’s lively annual riding event which drew crowds from all over Scotland. The day included a variety of activities such as the ride of the marches, falconry displays, pageant & fancy dress and even a llama show with appearances from Caspa, Corky and Dec the llamas. It was a great day out for the whole family to enjoy.
CWL staff greatly enjoyed the day, manning our trade stand which provided a great opportunity to engage with local people and keep them informed about our Sanquhar and Sanquhar ‘Six’ projects, which are both consented, with Sanquhar Wind Farm due to be operational by the end of October.
CWL were pleased to continue their sponsorship for the event, and lend their support to the riders and their horses as well as the many other people involved such as the incredible pipe bands.
CWL would like to thank the organisers of the show for such a good day out for the family, and also to those members of the public who came over to find out more about the exciting work that CWL are undertaking.
