CWL delighted to attend Haddington Show 2016 – 4th July
Community Windpower Ltd (CWL) was delighted to attend the annual Haddington Show event in East Lothian on Saturday 2nd July 2016.
CWL staff were pleased to attend East Lothian’s lively annual agricultural event which drew crowds from all over Scotland, with some visitors even coming from as far afield as Australia. The day included a variety of activities such as The Scottish Opera’s pop-up shows, falconry displays, livestock competitions and even a dog show which the whole family could enjoy.
CWL staff greatly enjoyed the day, manning our trade stand to help publicise the great work provided by our BeGreen Dunbar Energy Advice Centre, as well as providing a great opportunity to engage with local people and keep them informed about our Aikengall II project, which is currently in construction and due for completion at the end of the year.
CWL were pleased to continue their sponsorship for the Retrained Racehorse section, and lent their support to the riders and their horses; of which the winners will qualify for national competitions.
CWL would like to thank the organisers of the show for such a good day out for the family, and also to those members of the public who came over to find out more about the exciting work that CWL and BeGreen Dunbar are undertaking.
