Covid-19 crisis fund supports East Lothian Community Hospital

In East Lothian we’re delighted to be able to help East Lothian Community Hospital, through our Covid-19 crisis fund.
The £1,500 will go towards the purchase of tablets for East Lothian Community Hospital to help patients and their families stay in touch.
NHS Lothian recently responding to the Covid-19/Coronavirus pandemic by launching Covid-19 funding appeal, through which Community Windpower and BeGreen Dunbar are helping.
The fund is being used to provide additional support for new equipment, new technology (including phones, tablets and ipads and Kindles) and to look after NHS staff and patient welfare.
Diane Wood, community benefits director at Community Windpower, which operates the Aikengall Community Wind Farms in East Lothian, said: “The NHS do a fantastic job and we’re pleased to be able to help in East Lothian through our fund.
“NHS East Lothian is ensuring its teams are well equipped and prepared to provide vital care to patients and communities affected by the Covid-19 virus, so we know the money is going to make a difference right where it’s needed.”
