Community Wind Power placed 50th in Scotland's Top 100 private companies
Community Wind Power Limited has been ranked 50th in the top 100 private businesses in Scotland. Published this week, by professional services institution Grant Thornton, the prestigious ranking showcases various achievements and contributions the 100 companies have made to the Scottish economy over the past year.
The report is compiled using the most recent publicly available accounts of Scotland’s best performing private businesses, which are ranked on a hybrid of measures. Community Wind Power’s various achievements and contributions to the Scottish economy over the last year played a significant role in this year’s ranking. Our investments into Scottish industry and the Scottish supply chain to facilitate our current and future pipeline of green energy projects, spanning across East and West Scotland.
Community Wind Power are the highest ranked independent renewable energy company in the rankings; reflecting on a post-pandemic Scotland, this ranking highlights how a ‘green recovery’ can strengthen the Scottish economy. Moving forward, Community Wind Power remain committed to Scotland’s communities, businesses, and individuals. In 2016, we achieved 84th place in Grant Thornton’s Scotland ranking for that year. Since then, our investments and dedication have fuelled our growth as a business and achieving 50th place proves that there is always progress to be made.
