Community benefits total is fast approaching the £6 million mark.

Community Windpower are fast approaching the milestone of delivering a total of £6 million in community benefit funding to local host communities.
Community Windpower has delivered nearly half a million pounds in community benefit funding in 2021 so far and are on track deliver over £1 million in 2021.
The total comprises of community benefit funding from our seven operational wind farms, our projects in development and our affiliate companies BeGreen Dunbar and Dalry.
Community benefit funding provides our host communities with opportunities for local redevelopment where previously it wasn’t always possible. Funding also provides support for new projects and strengthens local organisations, schools and charities.
Diane Wood, Community Benefits Director, at Community Windpower Limited said “We are ecstatic to be fast approaching £6 million in community benefit funding.
“The company has just seen its largest delivery of community benefit funding in April 2021 and strive to keep up the momentum”
“The pandemic year has highlighted the significance of our communities and helping one another through adversity. We are delighted to play our part in supporting our host communities and providing legacy projects that will help create positive change for all residents and visitors”.
