1st Dunbar Cubs visit Edinburgh Zoo
This Christmas period the 1st Dunbar Wednesday Cubs will be attending Edinburgh Zoo for a badge day. To ensure all the Cubs will be able to attend they came to Community Coordinator Anouska Woods located at our BeGreen Dunbar Energy Advice Centre for financial support.
BeGreen Dunbar, who distributes the Aikengall Wind Farm community benefit fund, has donated £300 towards the cost of the trip to lift the financial burden from the Cubs parents at a difficult time for all families.
The funding will go towards organising travel for the day as well as providing a packed lunch and snacks for the day. The trip will provide an opportunity for the Cub Scouts to socialise and have fun while working towards their Cubs Animal Carer Activity Badges.
Anouska Woods said, “We have a brilliant relationship with the 1st Dunbar Cubs, and we are delighted to once again be supporting them”.
