£1000 towards the Berwickshire Show
Community Windpower and BeGreen Dunbar were delighted to donate £1,000 to support the Industrial Tent at this year’s return of the annual Berwickshire Show taking place at Duns.
Apart from the Covid break, this is the fourth consecutive year running that Community Windpower and BeGreen have made a major donation towards the costs of this popular local show.
The Industrial Tent is an important element of the show's identity and is very popular with both children and adults, as it is also the place to enter a number of competitions.
BeGreen Community Coordinator, Anouska Woods said: ‘It’s hard to believe that the last Berwickshire Show was in 2019. It’s one of my favourites because it has that unbeatable country community feel about it.
‘I love the competitions and the fact that so many local children participate, learn, and become involved in community life. It’s great to have it back.’
