CWL help Fund Singing and Verse Competition run by Dalry Burns Club

DBPT

Dalry primary pupils entered the singing and verse competition run by Dalry Burns Club this week. The club applied to the Boundary Trust sponsored by Community Windpower to assist with finance to run the competition.

CWL are happy to be supporting community events like this! Dalry Community Wind Farm provides annual community benefit funding equivalent to £2,500 per MW of installed capacity for the planning permission of the wind farm. Based on an installed capacity of 18 MW, this equates to £45,000 per annum, totalling around £1.13 million during the 25 year operational period, for the local host communities.

Pupils and staff along with Chairman Murray Wilson can be seen receiving the cheque from the trust.
