In class the children learnt about farming and whilst at Catrine House, they had the opportunity to see a variety of farm animals including Ayrshire cows, Gloucester Old Spot pigs and Zwartble sheep.

Catrine House makes Ayrshire Farmhouse Ice Cream and after the children were given a demostration on how cows are milked, they were shown how the ice cream was made. Finally, the finished product was sampled by all to make sure it was up to the highest standards!
