Community Windpower Ltd have contributed £1000 towards fundraising being carried out by North Ayrshire Amateur Swimming Club in aid of their training camp in Lanzarote in October 2010 for their members. The training camp will enable the senior swimmers to utilise and train in an Olympic sized pool and provide them with a valuable experience.

Father Donnelly from St. Palladius Church, Dalry recently received a £1000 donation from Community Windpower to assist with repair work for the church and church hall. The money donated will go towards the repair of a church window and repointing of the external walls.

Talented local footballer Megan McInnes has been called up to play for Scotland's under 17's Ladies football team. Community Windpower Ltd have contributed towards call-up costs to support this fantastic acheivement and opportunity.

Community Windpower Ltd and BeGreen Dalry have donated £1000 to local football team Dalry Thistle FC. The funds have been used to purchase a new away kit for the team ready for the start of the new 2010/11 season.

Sponsorship has been provided to Dalry Horticultural Society to assist with the organisation of this years Annual Flower Show taking place on Saturday 28th August 2010.

Donation of educational wind charger and solar panel to St. Palladius Primary School, Dalry. The unit is used to demonstrate the principles of generating electricity from renewable energy resources and provides pupils with practical experience of wind and solar power.

Community Windpower Ltd have donated to local community groups including a £1000 donation to Dalry Kulture Club, start-up funding for the Dalry Cubs Group, annual sponsorship of Dalry Horticulture Society and art equipment for Dalry Primary School's Art Club.

Donation of over £2000 in sponsorship for local adult and youth sports teams including Dalry Thistle, North Ayrshire Tennis Club, Dalry Rovers Football Club, North Ayrshire Amateur Swimming Club and Dalry Sports Club. Sponsorship has been used for training equipment and lessons, kits, summer camps and advertising.

Funding of over £5300 for educational school trips between 2007-2009 including trips to the Marine Biological station at Millport, Vikingar!, Dynamic Earth, Lunderston Bay, Loch Lomond, Castle Semple Country Park and RSPB Lochwinnoch. This includes donations to cover travel costs for school trips to Dalry Community Windfarm.

The employment of an Educational Ranger since 2006 to work with local schools, assisting teachers with the delivery of environmental topics to pupils and organising visits to local educational attractions.

Community Windpower Ltd has invested £100,000 in BeGreen Dalry. this community initiative provides advice and support on energy efficiency, grants and funding for loft and cavity wall insulation and micro-renewable applications for local residents.
