BeGreen LowerLune has formed a working partnership with local insulation experts Estate Energy Solutions to provide free, no obligation home energy audits for residents in the parishes of Caton-with-Littledale, Claughton, Hornby-with-Farleton and Roeburndale.

For properties who require energy efficiency improvements, Estate Energy Solutions install loft and cavity wall insulation and identify if the homeowners are eligible for grants and financial assistance. Top-up funding is also available from BeGreen LowerLune.

BeGreen LowerLune has received £15,000 initial set-up funding to enable the energy advice service to operate whilst the proposed Claughton Moor Community Windfarm is under development and in planning.
